The proposed EVR Summit Centre will serve the Elk Valley, providing flexible space for recreation, tournaments, gatherings, and local events. Led by a not-for-profit society, this initiative is driven by community volunteers working to create an accessible, inclusive, and sustainable space for all.

Why This Matters

Nestled in the southeastern corner of British Columbia, the Elk Valley is a place where rugged mountain landscapes, pristine rivers, and welcoming communities come together. The region has a strong culture of recreation and community involvement, creating a growing need for accessible indoor spaces where people can stay active throughout the year. We are working to meet that need through the development of a multi-purpose indoor facility designed for sports, recreation, community events, and social connection.
